Schirber and Wagner exists to serve the needs of our clients. To do that we strive to learn all we can about you, the client. It’s all about you, not us. But we also understand that to forge a relationship of trust and confidence with us, our clients first need to know who we are.

Firm Foundation

Michael Schirber began practicing law in, Nebraska in 1970.   Mr. Schirber holds an AV rating (the highest rating for legal ability and ethics) by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. Mr. Schirber has 32 years of experience in representing the city of Papillion, as City Attorney in municipal matters involving complex litigation.  Mr. Schirber has maintained an active family law and criminal practice since establishing his practice. 

In 1999 Michael Schirber was joined by Jeffrey A. Wagner in the practice of law at their Papillion office.  Mr. Wagner was the managing attorney at the Legal Aid society in Omaha, Nebraska where he oversaw a staff of nine attorneys providing representation in family law, general civil litigation and appellate practice.  Mr. Wagner maintained his own active practice in each of these areas while serving as managing attorney.  In 2003 Mr. Schirber and Mr. Wagner formed Schirber & Wagner, LLP a full service law firm serving the residents of Douglas, Sarpy and Cass counties.

While Schirber & Wagner focuses on litigation in federal and state courts we still provide services to our clients on the simplest of matters.

Determination

When legal issues arise our clients expect and deserve experience, sound advice and the legal expertise to resolve the issues.  We work hard to meet the needs of our clients without costly and time consuming litigation where possible.  But when our best efforts cannot resolve the disputes without litigation we will proceed to trial, prepared to zealously represent out clients.

We respect the rule of law and the American judicial system , and, to the greatest extent possible in through litigation, we respect the dignity of our clients’ adversaries and their counsel.
